Introducing Aggie Aglaonema: The Vibrant Veined Plant

Aggie is my Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen). Another relatively new arrival and another one of my favourites (I have many!). Agloaonemas are eye-catching plants that really add a touch of subtle drama to a room.

How do you care for Aglaonemas?

Light: Aglaonemas can generally do well in low to medium light, not full sun. That works perfectly for my living room flat which does not get much light so I could put my more sun-hungry plants near the window.

Water: I water Aggie roughly once a week when the soil is dry.

Humidity: Aglaonemas like humidity. My flat is on the drier side so I mist Aggie every few days.

Fertilising: Aglaonemas generally need fertilising every couple of months during spring/summer.

What I love about Aglaonemas: They are stylish, unique plants that can be used as great home decor styling accessories. They add a gentle pop of colour to any room. I’ve only had Aggie about 4 months and she hasn’t grown that much so she is good for a small room.

Do you have an Aglaonema? Do you have any advice or do anything differently? I’d love to hear.
